John Agar is the American cavalry sergeant assigned to civil affairs who arrives together with a detachment of troops to occupy the town of San Pascual, incurring the fierce enmity of a rebel captain, Kapitan Magno, portrayed by Pancho Magalona, who is determined that no other foreigners shall occupy his town after the oppressive rule of the Spaniards.
