Storyline
- Rosita and Carlos marry for convenience and not for love--because their relatives wish it. Marriage to her would cancel his father’s debt. This ugly and deformed wife wins nothing but hatred from her husband; desperate she goes to the city where with the help of beauty experts her looks change. She then becomes a nurse in the hospital where her husband is an intern and he, of course, falls for her without her revealing her true identity. Madly in love he tries to have his marriage annulled but his wife cannot be found, naturally.
