Storyline
- Delfin and Chayong are sweethearts. Chayong's parents are tenants of Don Magno who covets the beautiful Chayong. When the lovers are about to elope, Don Magno forces Chayong to marry him even as she is pregnant with Delfin's child. After the baby boy is born which is about the same time Don Magno's paramour gives birth to a baby girl, Don Magno switches the babies. Chayong only learns about this later and even on his deathbed, Don Magno refuses to reveal the whereabouts of her child. Fate brings the children together and they become sweethearts. Don Magno dies but Delfin refuses to be reconciled with Chayong. Only after a car accident where the children are involved and parental solicitude becomes a common feeling do they reconcile.
