Trivia
- Multi-sound is used for the first time in Local movies. Multi-sound was used with favorable effect in Portrait of Jennie (U.S.A., Selznick, 1948). It is only used in two scenes: when the huge bat (Satan) attacked Patria Plata and Reynaldo Dante (the bat shrieked an eerie and unnatural sound), and when the church filled with dynamite blew up.
- Dante is transformed from an old herb doctor to a young, handsome, dashing Don Roberto.
- Serialized in Ilang-ilang magazine.
