  • Description: Popular coed Charito meets with an accident which causes her to lose a leg. Boy friend Leroy feels inconsolably guilty. He abandons the university and finds work as a construction worker without leaving word to his family. Charito meantime is encouraged by her barkada to finish her dental degree in time for graduation. Still hoping to see something of Leroy, she finds work as a dentist in his barrio and boards in his parents' home where his sister recently married to a barkada member and who also happens to be her close friend now stays. After finishing an engineering degree (he worked and studied at the same time) Leroy proudly returns home to ask his parents' forgiveness. The lovers are happily reunited.
