Reviews
- Description: "Riding, shooting, fighting, romancing." "...movie has top cast--characters are portrayed by famous screen names--tunes, colorful action." "This is the story of a beautiful Mexican girl Carmencita Rodriguez (Carmen), daughter of Don Rodriguez (Lou Salvador), a rich hacendero who breeds race horses. She falls in love with the handsome, daring and courageous Fernando Alvarez (Poe) who with his good friend Juanito (Roberto Rosales) have been working for the Rodriguez family for a long time. [There is a spate of stealing and looting] by bandits from Acapulco led by Gomez. Posing as a buyer of race horses, Gomez approaches old Rodriguez but this transaction is objected to by Carmencita. In the looting which follows that night, Carmencita's younger brother is killed and the only evidence is a dagger with the name of Fernando Alvarez, Alvarez is arrested and Gomez proposes to marry Carmencita... [However, during] a lavish fiesta Fernando kidnaps Carmencita … [later] the truth [that he is innocent] comes out and the lovers live happily ever after..."
