  • Description: A gripping drama of a family abandoned by a philandering father, the story tells how à mother worked and saved to bring up and educate her seven children. To be able to do this she stole money from the bank where she worked. How her 6 sons and daughter took the news of the malversation provides one of the most intriguing and dramatic motion pictures of the year. The mother is imprisoned and then denounced and disowned by her own children, except Ricardo (Leopoldo) who stood by her and who managed to raise himself up from poverty and eventually reunited the whole family.
